Yearbook Photography
“ To Keep or Not to Keep? ”
The common denominator in all yearbooks, no matter the design or the establishment, are the pictures of the students and staff. SGS Studios ensures that every image is suitable, and there will be no secret blushes or cringes when staff or students see their picture.
What must we get right to make this happen? Firstly, we ensure our posing is correct, not to a standard, but the most suitable for the sitter. We are using the best equipment, and no matter what anybody says online, this is important for the result. We select the images from the most suitable taken, only the best meeting our criteria for yearbook inclusion. Once we have the digital image chosen, it is crafted further by our digital artists.
All our retouching is done in a way to keep the portraits looking natural. We allow staff and students to see their images before we submit to the yearbook coordinator, and we will make changes where required. With our transparency and flexibility in our process, we can increase our customer satisfaction. We have even put a wound and plaster back onto a portrait at a parents request, and we usually give a little extra retouching effort to our less youthful clients 😉
