SGS Studios is, first and foremost, a photography studio specializing in portraiture. In our early years as a classic portrait studio, we often produced the “professional headshot” – actors headshots, business portraits, or model portfolio headshots. The other side of this business was often family photography and family portraits, a style a little more candid, but still professional photo products where our ultimate deliverable.
The online gallery selection by our clients was often an unremarkable number of images. How many retouched photos does one need for an album or canvas? We became experts at getting the right shots for our clients, images that they wanted, relaxed smiles, and seemingly unposed and natural. Then we took our approach to proofing, post-production, and online sales, to the next level.
We deliver our brand of professional headshot photography to clients that have much more substantial project requirements, and much tighter timeframes, at the same time offering the same high-quality products that we have always provided. A professional photo shoot was done in our original studio and took an hour, now offered to schools, colleges, and corporate institutions, and performed in minutes.
There are many companies providing photography services, but we see SGS Studios as one of the very few that can maintain high levels of quality when making photographs of people, sometimes numbered in thousands of sittings for a single project.
